The unBT2A is a single gang Decora style in-wall Bluetooth® audio interface aimed at adding Bluetooth audio connectivity to single or multiroom audio systems. The unBT2A can be used where there’s a need to stream Bluetooth audio from a smart phone, laptop, tablet or other Bluetooth audio equipped smart device to the sound system. The unBT2A features a simple and consistent pairing process to eliminate the frustrating experience users often have with consumer grade Bluetooth interfaces. Through the unBT2A EXP expander unit (shipped with the unBT2A), the unBT2A outputs balanced mono or stereo analog audio on 3-pin depluggable connectors for easy connection to any audio equipment. The unBT2A USB port is used for initial product setup at installation, and the unBT2A EXP has an RS-232 port for 3rd party control.

What sets your product apart from others? - For years Bluetooth audio technology has been a standard feature on laptops, tablets, phones, headsets, speakers, cars and many other common consumer products. Though Bluetooth has the same vulnerabilities as other wireless technologies in the ever more crowded 2.4GHz spectrum, its proliferation and end user acceptance has driven it to be the de facto short-range wireless consumer audio connectivity solution. Although Bluetooth is used as a "captive" technology in products like wireless subs and speakers, flexible and configurable installer-oriented Bluetooth interfaces have not previously been available. Installers like the robustness of wired audio sources, because they like not having calls from our customers complaining about intermittent problems caused by installed wireless solutions.
